Number 12 West Street is mid to late 17th century. Probably timber framed. The adjoining 18th century barn, in red brick, has been converted into a house. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1126441 Isleham is a rural fenland village situated about 6 miles north of Newmarket and some 7 miles south east of Ely. The village is renowned for the Isleham Hoard of more than 6500 pieces of bronze from the late Bronze Age. The priory of St Margaret of Antioch was founded in the village circa 1090.
