At the far end is the Bay Horse pub. The marker stone on the green, below the light blue house, is better illustrated and described at http://www.dartmoor-crosses.org.uk/Devon_Marker_Stones/TB_Ashburton.htm : "The inscription 'Cleder Place' is now missing, but a faint outline of the words can still just be seen."
