The Village Hall (previously known as the Jubilee Mission Hall) in Mission Hall Green was built in the 19th century. Purchased by the parish council from the Church of England in 2016 it is now run by a charity. Wicken is a small village some 10 miles north east of Cambridge and 5 miles south of Ely. There are traces of occupation from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods. The village is the site of Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve.
