The daffodils are out in this view from the castle mound in the spring of 1984. Below that a red Eastern Counties bus awaits departure on a local city service; the vehicle sports an advertisement for Robertson & Coleman Ltd of Queen Street, cabinet makers and upholsterers. The steps leading into Davey Place can be seen on the right.
