Old Milestone, Former A361, West Hill, West of Wincanton

The milestone is located just east of Abergavenny, on the bank by the north side of the road. Parish of Wincanton (South Somerset District). Metal plate attached to stone post, Wincanton iron plate design, erected by the Wincanton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- Wincanton / 1 / Castle Cary / 5 Grade II Listed.
