An Inconspicuous Trig Pillar

I was in the process of getting my map out to find out exactly where this trig point was when I noticed it was actually just over the other side of the hedge about three feet away! Trig points, I only recently discovered, are a fairly recent thing, the first one appearing in 1936 in order to do more precise mapping of the country. Each one has am official name - this one's is Pyothall, named after the nearby farm. The OS website doesn't keep records of when they were erected, merely when they were first computed, which presumably means when measurements were taken and heights ascertained. The date given for this one is 1947.
