The garden is called Villeneuve le Roi "to celebrate the twinning of our two towns 1972" according to the dilapidated nearby board. The drill hall, with offices and accommodation were opened on 30 December 1911. The hall was demolished, and the arch with apartments to its left replaced it by 2002, the original Sergeant-Instructor's house on the right also being converted into flats. (Villeneuve Mews)
