Although no vehicles are visible in this view, Cross in Hand roundabout is a busy place especially with heavy goods vehicles heading to and from Magna Park, a huge warehousing and logistics centre. Very little of that traffic, however, heads along the B4428, the road in the foreground, which is relatively quiet. A curiosity of the B4428 is the different numbers it has previously had: B4111, A4114, A427 and B4027. The temporary signs refer to roadworks on the A4303 ahead. The boundary between Warwickshire and Leicestershire crosses approximately where the photographer is standing.
