The part-demolished shell of the Dover Sole pub (formerly the Gipsyville Tavern) on the corner of Hessle Road and Hereford Street. Only the ground floor façade remains after a – presumably abandoned – proposal to retain the whole frontage in a conversion to shops and flats. This aimed to preserve the 1926 pub's 'Queen Anne-influenced' features, most of which were erased in the 2019 demolition. A stencil-style graffito of Jeremy Corbyn sweeping something under a carpet adorns one of the panels used to board up the original front door.
