Surveyed by the Milestone Society. In the village of Grantshouse, once on the A1 but now by-passed. It has The Auld Toll House in plastic letters at the top of the door. This cottage and the rest of the building to the south are derelict and awaiting renovation. it woould have been a tollhouse serving the Great Post Road.
