The sign is in the silhouette style skilfully executed. The sign is surmounted by a crown to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee. The ruin of St. Andrews church which caught fire in 1736 and was abandoned shares the sign with a squirrel sitting in an oak tree. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6686416
