The new houses off Hyde Road are known as Sandpiper Place Image The road into the development has been named Sir Gerald Kaufman Close after the Father of the House of Commons https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Kaufman who had been MP for Manchester Gorton from 1983 until his death in 2017.
