Hinton Road runs past the back of the old ABC cinema. The flicks opened in 1937 and was designed by Associated British Cinemas man, William Riddle Glen, in an Art Deco style and with seating for over 2,500. Serving for 88 years, it was shut in 2017 and awaits transformation into residential use.
