Built in 1986, this charter boat was, for 22 years, a pilot boat with the Port Authority at Milford Haven. In 2008, the boat hit the local headlines after it had started to take on water as it prepared to head out to sea from Milford Haven. The four-man crew managed to beach the vessel before another pilot boat was able to come to its aid, supporting it until the sea truck arrived to transport it to Pembroke Port. It was repaired and put back into service and then, the following year, it was sold. For a selection of detailed free to download walking routes in the area visit www.northtynesidewalks.co.uk
