The plaque is on one of the doors of Cupar Parish Church. It reads: PARISH CHURCH The original church was built in 1415 - the tower still remains. The spire was added in 1620 some years after the Parish Church united with St. Michael of Tarvit. The body of the church was rebuilt in 1785.
