This sculpture, designed by Stephen Broadbent, is one of several which punctuate the walkway along the new Rossall Coastal Defence Scheme to the south of Fleetwood, Lancashire. The piece symbolises Larkholme Grasslands which was a Biological Heritage Site even before the floodwater channel was landscaped as part of the sea defences project because of its wealth in marine species. Rossall Point Observation Tower can be seen across the golf course in the distance.
