Eaglesham Road, seen at left, runs from the village of Eaglesham to the hamlet of Jackton and on to the west side of East Kilbride. The minor road Hayhill Road meets Eaglesham Road just west of Jackton. The picture looks across Hayhill Road at its Eaglesham Road end towards Eaglesham.
