Victoria Mill is the scaffolded structure with a six storey stair tower. This part dates from 1889 but there has been a mill here since 1854. It was originally built as a cotton spinning mill but was later used for spinning and weaving. It is now (2020) refurbished and used by the University of Central Lancashire. Sandygate Mill is beyond and the tall chimney is on Oak Mount Mill.
