Wrentham village sign in need of some TLC

As it says on the sign it was researched by the children of Wrentham C.P. School in 1988. At the top the Union flag and the flag of the USA flank the village pound which is not far from the church, which isn’t included. The wheatsheaves represent the local agriculture and farms, while the carrots are a reference to Wrentham Vegetables Ltd, a local processing company and local employer. The wavy lines represent the sea which is less than two miles away from the village centre. Unfortunately the bottom of the sign is in need of restoration but appears to represent a farmyard.
