On St James' Road Orrell. In the 70's the school was called St. James' County Primary. I went there between 1969 and 1976. The headmaster at the time was Mr Alker and at the end of each year the Cadman Cup was awarded to the best boy and girl of leaving age. Needless to say - I didn't win :)
