Carved stone post by the A47, in parish of Thurnby (Harborough District), Uppingham Road; E of Station Road jct, on the verge, on North side of road. Bow back stone erected by the Leicester to Peterborough, Leicester District Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads: // LEICESTER / 4 / UPPINGHAM / 15 // Not listed by Historic England.
