Erected in the market place in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. The rear roundel depicts Queen Victoria and the fountain is inscribed 'ERECTED IN MEMORY OF HER MAJESTYS DIAMOND JUBILEE' above the motto 'KEEP THE PAVEMENT DRY'.
