This has the dates 1952 and 2002. There is lettering around the side of the seat which I did not think to read at the time but can make out the words 'of St Hedda's and CE primary schools', so perhaps there was a partnership between Egton C of E school and St Hedda's Roman Catholic school (at Egton Bridge).
