Dymchwelwyd hen eglwys y plwyf Llanfihangel Aberbythych oddeutu 1850 pan y codwyd yr adeilad presennol The previous parish Church of Llanfihangel Aberbythych (trans. St Michael's at the confluence of the Bythych stream) was demolished c1850 and replaced by the present building.
