A length of cycle track avoids the Hatton's Road roundabout. From here on, at quarter to eight in the morning cyclists intent on reaching Bar Hill take their chances with rush-hour traffic heading for the A14. The continuing construction of Northstowe new town east of Longstanton is making the B1050 a busier road.
