Memorial to RAF Sgt. John Newton at Skillington

At the east end of the north aisle, on the north wall in the Parish Church of Skillington is the memorial to Sgt John Newton who died when the aircraft in which he was the Observer crashed while on patrol for Coastal Command over the North Sea on May 28th 1942. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6560625
