At the time this photograph was taken the pub was a Marston's house. However around December 2014 it closed for about two and a half years, re-opening in late June 2017 under the ownership of the Two Crafty Brewers Company. The building is Grade II listed, is timber framed and dates from the 17th century with later alterations & additions.
