A development of 'Memorial Houses' built in the 1911-1913 period for the Society of Friends, in an Arts & Crafts style, and surrounding a very pleasant open green space. Signage on site suggests that they, and the lawned area here at the front, are now part of the University campus buildings, but the cottages are for the most part vacant nonetheless.
