The Sweet Diner, at the corner of Bond Street and Hyde Road, was previously the Broomhouse Inn (Image]). It closed as a pub sometime before 2010 and briefly reopened as "The Broomhouse Grill" in 2014 (Image]) before it was renamed "Sweet Diner". Celebrated Manchester-based street artist Akse_P19 added the mural of Gene Wilder as the Character Willy Wonka (Image]) on the Bond Street wall in June 2020 (https://www.facebook.com/sweetdiner/videos/1670571693081015/ Facebook video).
