The Grosvenor Hotel, by T.M. Penson, 1863-66, and completed by R.K. Penson and A. Ritchie, for the 2nd Marquess of Westminster. "A great lump" - it certainly has little of the zing of many of its nearby contemporaries. Grade II listed.
