Brize Norton's parish church is dedicated to St Britius, which is very unusual. In fact, search on St Britius Church and all you get is this one, so it may be unique. Saint Britius is better known as Saint Bryce, which is no doubt where the village name comes from. http://catholicsaints.info/tag/name-britius/
