This is at the junction with China Street and Bridge Lane. The big house with a central bow has a pedimented doorway at each end, presumably servants' entrances and now probably now giving access to parts of the building in different occupations. The next house is No.76, with the link snuffer, and has been a Conservative Club. On the right is the Duke of Lancaster public house, with a dome over the corner.
