Dereliction corner. The roofless building with a small top-floor arboretum was a nightclub, Zig Zag, and had apparently lain empty for more than twenty years. Next door was a shop, Cordles, while the brick front to its right, looking relatively pristine, was a pub, the Swan, later the Smoke Stack.
