The road is closed from Ash Grove Fireclay Works to a point to the east of the first houses in Elland. There has been subsidence, and cracks have appeared in the road surface. A narrow way has been left for pedestrians. This has required a long length of fencing, so we should be grateful. However the way through is not wide enough for cycling.
