This was genuinely a farmhouse, with 17th century origins but dating mainly from the 18th and early 19th centuries, until the land was turned over for housing and leisure use, and is now a pub (at the time of the photo, closed due to Covid-19 restrictions). The main building seen here is grade II listed (list entry 1375443).
