This facility has been known by several names over the years according to who has owned or operated the site. It has variously been 'Redpath, Dorman and Long', 'Redpath de Groot Caledonian', 'Kvaerner Yard', 'Burntisland Fabrications Yard'. Its current name of 'Fife Energy Park' encompasses more than the original shipyard and now includes Methil Docks and Methil Docks Business Park and Low Carbon Investment Park. This view is of the original vehicular entrance which became redundant when the new entrance was completed in 2010.
