Looking along Gosforth High Street (the B1318) before it turns into the Great North Road. The road is particularly quiet (even for a Sunday tea time) due to restrictions put in place by the government to restrict the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in spring 2020. Temporary restrictions including banning all but essential travel were in place from late March leading to particularly quiet roads as people complied with the instructions.
