This is looking north from the old railway bridge - now a scary narrow [very narrow!] road bridge across the Lune. The weir helped to power the riverside industry of mills. Visible in the background is the Wind Farm on the fells behind Caton. These are spread across SD5763 and SD5764, a full 7km away, demonstrating the visual impact of these monsters.
