This cast-iron stench pole stands opposite the junction with Lady Margaret Road, part of Cambridge's inner ring road. Maggie (after the Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of Henry VII and foundress of two Cambridge colleges) is in a rather rusty condition with peeling green paintwork, retaining her original corona finial but now dwarfed by a new lamp standard recently installed.
