This hotel has been closed for at least 15 years, see Image Another contributor has photographed the derelict interior. A nearby micropub called the New George presumably honours its memory. A CAMRA guide to Leeds pubs published in 1993 notes it as 'Dating from the 1820s ... one of the few survivors of the industrial village of Kirkstall'.
