Blindwells development

Early days of a massive housing development on a former opencast site. The name comes from a farm that was destroyed by the coal mine. Blind wells are springs that appear in an unsusal place, here caused by water flowing downhill through limestones and sandstones being forced to the surface by an impermeable igneous formation.
