Carved stone post by the A3078, in parish of VERYAN (CARRICK District), Treswithian, crude lettering, on West side of road. Erected by the Creed & St Just turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : SᵀMaWES / 8 / TReGONY / 4 : : RUAN / 2 : Carved benchmark on East face, partly buried. Grade II listed.
