Stone post (plates lost and replaced by replicas) by the UC road, in parish of TREGONEY (CARRICK District), Freewater, North of crossroads, on road to Grampound Road, on the verge, on West side of road. Grampound iron plates, erected by the Local Highways Board in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : GRAMPOUND / ROAD / 3¼ MILES : : TREGONY / 1 MILE : Carved benchmark on top.
