One of a couple (maybe more) in the village - see also Image - this old water pillar is on the short section of the High Street that runs east-west between the bends. Though often referred to as pumps, these pillars differ in that they are supplied from pressurised mains and so don't need a handle and mechanism to force water to the surface. Image
