Bridge over the River Darenth at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve

A former sand and gravel quarry was converted into a wildlife reserve in a pioneering project started in the 1950s. Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve is now managed by Kent Wildlife Trust. This is where the River Darenth flows into West Lake as seen from the path which gives a delightful circular walk around the lake.
