House on Old Beer Road. The plaque on the wall on the left reads: "Seaforth Lodge 1863. Built for Lady Ashburton by local builder Joseph Goode. Florence Nightingale, Thomas Carlyle, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Robert Browning and such pre-Raphaelites as John Ruskin, Charles Swinburne and John Millais have all stayed here as guests of Lady Ashburton".
