This photo taken at the north side of the lake in Barclay Park shows the information board with the following wording: THE LAKE AND ITS WILDLIFE Left column Barclay Park has a diverse range of wildlife including over 30 species of birds, 15 species of freshwater creatures, roach, rudd, carp in the lake, muntjac deer, mole, fox, squirrel and a vast assortment of invertebrates. With the creation of the new wetland area, lake banks and reed beds it is hoped that biodiversity will increase even further. Middle column This image shows coot, carp and great diving beetle. Right column This image shows lesserpond sedge, yellow flag iris, common darter, pond skater, great pond snail and smooth newt.
