Pairs of semi-detached cottages in the northern section of Copthorne Road, dating from when the road was first developed as a cul-de-sac off Barnett Wood Lane. All have date plaques which also show either the name of the cottages or what are presumably the initials of the builder. Nearest are Rosemary Cottages (1904) and then Primula Cottages (also 1904). The three pairs beyond have plaques inscribed (from right to left) "EEW 1904", "JRM 1904" and "JRM 1905".
