The houses on the left and others in several neighbouring streets too are part of a small award-winning estate in Norwich's "Golden Triangle" that - in October 2019 - became the first social housing project to be awarded the Stirling architecture prize in its 23 year awarding history. The properties were designed by the London firm Mikhail Riches and built to German Passivhaus heat-loss prevention standards. In addition some older social housing stock can be seen on the right-hand side. The A1074 (a.k.a. the main Norwich-Dereham road) lies 3-4 minutes walk ahead.
