Purton war memorial was dedicated in December, 1920 and has the names of 55 who died in WWI and 14 who died in WWII. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1352664 Originally built round the parish church, manor and Tithe barn, the village moved and is now mostly spread out along the Bristol and Oxford coach road.
